This policy explains what information Onward & Upward Educational Foundation, Inc. ("we," "us," "the foundation") collects through this website, how we use it, and who else may see it. It covers this website only, not events, forms, or payment pages hosted by third parties that we link to.

Information we collect

This site does not use analytics, tracking cookies, or advertising scripts, so we do not automatically collect browsing data about visitors. We only receive information you choose to give us directly:

  • If you email or call us (via the addresses and number listed on this site), we receive whatever you send: your email address or phone number, name, and message content.
  • If you register for an event through a link on this site (currently, Eventbrite), your registration information is collected and handled by that third-party platform under its own privacy policy, not this one. We receive attendee information from the platform for event planning purposes.
  • If you donate once a donation option is live on this site, payment information will be handled entirely by that payment provider (for example, Stripe) and will never pass through or be stored on this website.

How we use information

We use the information above only to respond to your inquiry, administer the event you registered for, process a donation you make, or otherwise carry out the specific request you made. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers named above (Eventbrite, and a future payment processor) to the extent needed to carry out your request.

Third-party services

Links on this site to Eventbrite, a future donation processor, and our social media profiles (once published) take you to services we do not control. Their own privacy policies, not this one, govern what happens to your information on those platforms.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Your choices

You can always reach out to ask what information we have connected to your email or phone number, or to ask us to delete it, using the contact information below.

If how we handle information changes (for example, when we add a donation processor or analytics), we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
